Organisation Counselling - Employee Assistance Programmes
Stress-related sickness is widely reported to be a major cause of absence for UK businesses. According to the CBI it is estimated that 13.4 million working days a year are lost through stress, anxiety and depression.
The provision of counselling through an Employee Assistance Programme can ensure that employees always have somewhere to turn when life's pressures start to build up.
Whether the primary source of the problem lies within or outside the work environment, counselling can help employees to explore their feelings and concerns, empowering them to find their own solutions.
The aims of counselling are to help the employees relieve pressing issues, develop better coping strategies, and work towards living in a more satisfying and resourceful way.
