How I Work as an Integrative Counsellor

As an integrative counsellor my practice focuses on the therapeutic relationship established with clients. I offer you the opportunity to be heard without judgement, and endeavour to create a nurturing, safe environment built on respect and understanding.

My practice pays attention to how past experiences can be carried across to the present and I am mindful of how this may impact upon the counselling relationship. As well as listening therapeutically I offer the opportunity to work creatively with art materials, objects and simple relaxation techniques.

The aim of the work undertaken is not just to relieve pressing issues of the moment, but also to seek a more optimistic and untroubled future.

I am committed to providing a high standard of professional practice that both honours and respects the individual. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of practice and ethical standards.
